We've updated the notes functionality in Beacon to support the ability to delete notes and add notes to grouped alerts.
One of the key value propositions of Beacon is the ability to provide valuable alert information that is meaningful and actionable. When an administrator receives an alert, they can review the trigger of the alert, additional screenshots, browsing history, and entire words on the pages to determine if an action is required. In most cases, many people from multiple departments are involved in making a decision or enacting the school’s response protocol. One alert may require a discussion among a counselor, assistant principal, and social worker while another alert may require a discussion among the safety resource officer, principal, and dean.
Now, we’ve added more flexibility by allowing customers to delete notes and add notes to grouped alerts. With the release of Threats and Violence on 2/2/21, notes functionality is available for all Beacon alerts.
